What is a Volunteer Vixen? What is this site all about?

The Volunteer Vixens Calendar is a project put together by women who volunteer their time to work at Dragon*Con in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. The 12-month wall calendar features 9 women in 13 full color pictures.

The women involved, a team of photographers, photo and calendar editors, web developers and many organizations and people supporting this project behind the scenes have volunteered their efforts for this project. The printing is the only cost associated with this calendar. All proceeds from the sale of this calendar go to the Dragon*Con charity, the American Diabetes Association. By purchasing this calendar you will be an important part in their mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by this disease.

Calendars will be available for sale at Dragon*Con 2007 in the convention store and online at via the store at DragonCon.org. The price of the calendar is 20 dollars.

Calendar Girls will be easily identified during the convention by wearing sashes with their corresponding month. They will be available to autograph your favorite picture of them during most of the convention.
